The subordinate pages to this one provide me with another opportunity to highlight the songs on my 2006 CD Interim Reports and, for the first time, to say a few things about their inception, reception, constitution, and their significance (to me).
I hope for some it adds some context without giving any games away – or diminishing any satisfaction or pleasure the owners of the CD gain by listening to it. When I mention what seems to me to be a flaw in a song, I hope it’s not so obvious that my referring to it is an exercise in pointing out the bleedin’ obvious! If I mention some compliment paid to me I hope it’s understood that I cherish these events, without which doing any of this would be much less meaningful.
I hope for others who have not heard them before that these pages spark some interest to hit the play button on a few song pages, and – maybe, just maybe – see the link to the CD Baby store to the right.
