Free Fingerstyle MP3s & Tabs & Notation For Download
Below are some links to some free MP3s and fingerstyle tabs and standard notation of original songs that I have recently recorded which I’m making available for free download (for a limited time) for your enjoyment. These are “early mixes” which will be refined and made ready for mastering for my next CD. At which point the MP3s will disappear from here in a puff of virtual smoke. Vamoosed. Skedaddled and decamped to a factory to be copiously copied and cloned. So grab ‘em while you can!
Now, lest I forget my own tunes before I record them (it happens), I have developed the habit of writing them down. Acoustic fingerstyle guitar players (and anyone else with an interest!) can open and download the PDFs of these guitar parts. They are in both standard notation and tablature. (Please note that for the sake of brevity, I have sometimes omitted the repeats in the scores.) The lyrics are also provided – in case I forget them also (this used to happen a lot).
If you are going to play them, I hope you enjoy them. Please don’t hesitate to rearrange them to suit your style. If you have any comments or questions, again please get in touch. For example, I’ll be delighted to help with interpretation of the scores and assist with alternative fingerings.
